Rec Complex and Bootheel Golf Course Master Plan
Sikeston, MO

Gateway Design Studio was Lead Park Planner in cooperation with The i5 Group in providing the City of Sikeston a long range Master Plan for the City's most complete outdoor recreational facility; a 196-acre park in addition to a 136-acre former Bootheel Golf Course. The goal was to prepare a Conceptual Master Plan that focuses on an inventory of existing conditions, needs assessment and desires of the community. Full public engagement was included in the scope which provided meetings with City officials, various stakeholders and local residents. A project website and online survey was provided as well for comments and feedback.
