Gateway Design Studio provided site planning, hardscape, landscape and irrigation design for this church campus located in Ellisville, MO. As part of the scope of work, GDS worked with church staff and engineering consultants to develop a new parking lot layout for more efficient traffic flow and parking. Included in the site improvements was a new entry plaza from the parking lot designed to welcome visitors and guests.

 

The design incorporated recommendations for native planting material for trees, shrubs and perennial flowers. The new Plaza was designed to strengthen views to the west entrance of the church into the welcome center, café and commons area.

 

Plans were prepared for concept reviews, preliminary cost estimation, city plan approvals and construction documents. The project was completed in Fall of 2019.
